Oxygen for your music
Why Oxygen.
Oxygen is a brand new recording facility located in the north of Italy, owned by the producer/guitarist Paride Lanciani (Kash / Instrumental Quarter). The studio offers a comfortable space where bands, musicians and artists can stay and produce their work in an isolated and relaxed setting, nestled into a quiet hillside home, surrounded on all sides by nature and magnificent scenery.
The heart of the studio is based around a super cool vintage (1975-83) Ghunter Loof model 2112 console. This is a completely analog desk, wired point –to-point, completely and competently restored, including an added 576-point sub D25 Signex PTB96 patch bay. AMPEX characterizes the signature oxygen sound with a MM1200 2” /24 track tape recorder and an ATR 102 ¼” 2 track mix down unit. An assortment of other vintage equipment distinguishes and completes Oxygen offering our clients the best quality available to achieve this classic, warm sound.
The control room has been carefully designed to give a flat response of 20 Hz to 20 KHz (at +/- 3db at 1/3 octave). The studio offers three session spaces with different acoustic solutions: the live room, window room and an isolation booth. Thick glass doors separate the live and window rooms, creating different ambient layouts, and thus various options for the best result of your projects.
Oxygen also offers accommodations for staying at the studio full-time, with a comfortable and large lounge provided with TV, hifi stereo, games, and a fully stocked gourmet kitchen, as well as a lovely garden and two bedrooms.
Our main goal as a studio is to ensure that our clients have a fantastic experience, creating excellent music in a stress-free, inspirational and welcoming environment.
